Directions
From the North (Watertown or Canada)
From I-81, take Exit 42 (Adams Center and Route 177).
At the end of the exit ramp, take a right.
Continue through the light onto Route 177, traveling 25 miles until you reach a stop sign at the junction of Route 177 and Route 12.
Turn right onto Route 12 South into the village of Lowville.
At the first traffic light in Lowville, turn right, following the signs for Route 12 South.
In about a mile, there will be a fork in the road where Routes 12 and 26 split.
Bear left at the fork, continuing on Route 12 South.
Port Leyden is about 17 miles south of the village of Lowville.
When you reach the traffic light in Port Leyden, turn left and go a third of a mile.
You'll cross over the Black River.
(Disregard the sign that says "Entering Lyonsdale" - that's the township -
you're still in the Village of Port Leyden.)
The Allegro Guest House is on your left, 7303 East Main Street.
From the South, East, and West: (Central NY, Western NY,
Lower NY, Connecticut, Vermont)
Take I-90 (NY Thruway) to Exit 31.
After the toll, bear right onto Genesee Street.
At the first trafic light, take a right and go approximately 50 yards.
Turn right onto the ramp heading to 790 West.
Go approximately one mile, and take the exit for Route 12 North.
Follow Route 12 North approximately 38 miles to Port Leyden
(six miles north of the Village of Boonville).
At the traffic light in Port Leyden, turn right and go a third of a mile.
You'll cross over the Black River.
(Disregard the sign that says "Entering Lyonsdale" - that's the township -
you're still in the Village of Port Leyden.)
