Three ski areas are closeby. Snow Ridge Ski Area is just six miles away, and offers 7 lifts, 22 slopes and trails at levels from novice to advanced, a PSIA certified ski school, rentals and repair, and refreshments.

In the Old Forge area, just over 20 miles away, you'll find the McCauley Mountain Ski Center which offers both downhill and cross-country trails, ski rentals, lessons, guides, and refreshments.
Cross-country skiing is available through BREIA, the Black River Environmental Improvement Association out of Boonville, in many areas throughout the Tug Hill Plateau, as well as at Snow Ridge Ski Area and McCauley Mountain Ski Center.
